The Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety – Queensland (CARRS-Q) is pleased to invite you to attend a series of community and industry focussed road safety workshops, to be held at the Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre on Wednesday 19 August.
These workshops will provide an opportunity for those interested in road safety and injury prevention to hear from CARRS-Q experts on topics such as work related driving, developing great projects, new technologies in road safety and working with the media.
Each workshop is designed to provide opportunities for attendees to gain an understanding of key topic areas, as well as opportunities to engage in practical activities and discussions.
With sessions scheduled in the morning and afternoon, attendees can attend for either half a day, or combine two workshops and attend for the full day. Full day attendees will receive lunch between sessions, whilst all attendees will receive copies of the workshop presentations and take home resources.
These workshops are supported by the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, and will be held during Queensland Road Safety Week, an initiative of the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads and the Queensland Police Service.
