GENERAL INFORMATION 

Where is the conference?
HSRAANZ 20177 will be held at Surfers Paradise Marriott . Click here for further information regarding the venue. 

Will there be parking available at the venue?
The Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa offers guests two levels of car parking located beneath the hotel. Parking charges are as follows:

  • Up to two hours $2.00
  • Up to five hours $5.00
  • 24 hours $15.00

Pay stations are located in the car park for ease of payment prior to departure.

Valet parking is charged at $25.00 per vehicle per day. 

Delegates who book accommodation for the conference, via the registration form, receive 1 complimentary car park per room per night. 

I have a special dietary requirement, how is this managed at the conference? 
When you complete the registration form, indicate your special dietary requirements when prompted. The Conference Organisers will pass this onto the venue to ensure a meal will be prepared for you at each conference catering break and social functions (if you are in attendance). Please introduce yourself to the venue staff onsite.

Will there be free WiFi?
Free WiFi will be available for delegates on the conference floor. The WiFi access code will be supplied to you onsite at the event.

PROGRAMME 

Where can I find the programme?
The programme outline is available online and will be updated once the Call for Abstracts process closes. Click here to view the online programme which is updated when changes are made. Additionally, the programme will be made available to delegates via an Abstracts Book PDF (electronic version) and the conference app. Delegates will be provided with app download instructions and a link to the Abstracts Book PDF approximately 1 week prior to the conference. 

Will there be a printed programme?
Yes, the conference programme will be printed within the pocket programme and will be located in the back of your name badge. No handbook will be printed. 

CONFERENCE APP

Is there a conference app?
There is a conference app, that will be available for Android and Apple devices (this includes both smartphones and tablets). It is currently being developed, and we will notify all delegates when it is available for download. 

Does it cost money to download?
No, it is free to download but requires data to run. WiFi will be available at the conference for delegates to use.  

REGISTRATION

How do I register?
Click here to complete your online registration. We recommend using either Chrome or Firefox browser to complete this.

What currency will my registration fees be charged in?
Registration fees for the conference are in Australian Dollars and include 10% Goods and Services TAX (GST).

When will I receive my confirmation letter and tax invoice?
Standard processing time is 24 - 48 hours. If you register on a weekend, you will be emailed the next business day. Your confirmation email will include;
•    Confirmation letter listing your registration selection, optional extras and accommodation details (if selected)
•    Tax Invoice 
•    Important links to the conference website

What do I need to bring with me to the registration desk onsite?
We recommend bringing your confirmation letter with you as this outlines your registration details and if you have booked additional tickets to the social functions. If you are a replacing a colleague's registration, you will be required to present identification at the registration desk. 

Is there a discount for not-for-profits?
The only discounts available are for HSRAANZ Members and the earlybird registration, which can be found by clicking here. Requests for assistance to attend the conference will be considered by the Organising Committee on a case-by-case basis.  Contact brodi@icebergevents.com.au.

ACCOMMODATION

Who do I contact to make an accommodation booking?
If you have already registered for the conference please click here to view the accommodation rates. To add accommodation to your registration, please contact Iceberg Events. 

If you have not yet registered for the conference, click here to complete the online registration form. You can select accommodation via this form.

I need to make a change to my accommodation booking, who do I call?
Please contact Iceberg Events if you have any enquiries or changes to your accommodation booking. Iceberg Events are managing the group booking at the conference venue, QT Gold Coast, Mantra Sun City and Mantra Crown Towers; the hotel properties will instruct you to contact Iceberg Events directly. 

Is breakfast included in my accommodation booking?
Breakfast is not included in the delegate rates we have made available. Refer to the accommodation page for further information by clicking here. 

Is parking included in my accommodation booking?
Delegates who book accommodation at the conference venue, via the registration form, receive 1 complimentary car park per room per night. If you choose to stay at one of the other hotel properties, car parking information is listed on the accommodation webpage. 

What do I need on arrival to the hotel?
If you have booked accommodation via Iceberg Events and the online registration form, you will only need to provide your name to hotel reception. Click here for check-in and check-out times. 

SOCIAL FUNCTIONS

Where can I find out information on the social functions?

I can't remember if I purchased tickets to the Cocktail Reception/Poolside Soirée?
If you have registered as a full conference registration, you will have a ticket to both functions automatically included. You can also purchase additional tickets to these social functions if required. 

Please contact Iceberg Events to check which social function tickets you have within your registration.  

BREAKFAST SESSIONS

Are the breakfast sessions included in my registration?
Breakfast sessions will be held on Thursday 2 and Friday 3 November 2017, and are in addition to the conference and day registration. 

How do I register for the breakfast sessions?
The breakfast sessions can be selected when you register via the registration webform. Delegates may attend multiple breakfast sessions. If you have already registered, and would like to add the breakfast sessions to your registration, please contact Iceberg Events. 

WORKSHOPS

Are the workshops included in my registration?
Workshops will be held on Tuesday 31 October 2017, and are in addition to the conference and day registration. Workshops are available for delegates and non-delegates to attend.

How do I register for the workshops?
The workshops can be selected when you register via the registration webform. Workshops run concurrently; only one workshop can be attended per session. If you have already registered, and would like to add the workshops to your registration, please contact Iceberg Events.
