Optional Masterclass Workshop

Development & Implementation of National Legionella Guidelines

The Optional Masterclass Workshop will be held in the Premiership Suite on Level 3 of Adelaide Oval.

This master class will provide detailed insights into the development and implementation of the National Legionella Guidelines in healthcare facilities. It will include presentations from key parties involved in the development of the enHealth "Guidelines for Legionella Control in the Operation and Maintenance of Water Distribution Systems in Health and Aged Care Facilities", showcase some technologies available for the control of Legionella and outline some tools available to ensure compliance with the guidelines.

The master class will be of interest to hospital & aged care facilities managers, infection control professionals and FM service providers.

Highlights: Take a guided tour of the South Australian Health & Medical Research Institute including SAHMRI’s state of the art interiors, atrium, plaza area and spiral staircase. The tour will also include an introduction to the facility's engineering services, including environmental / energy efficiency initiatives and unique maintenance requirements by one of SAHMRI's major contractors.
