Mr. Adrian Laughlin (BA Hons) has worked in areas such as child behaviour and development, ergonomics, and human machine interaction. Now, in his role at the Accident Research Centre at Monash University, Adrian focuses on injury prevention and community safety through analysis of state-wide hospital data and promoting changes to legislation, guidelines, and procedures including remedies for issues related to data collection and quality in order to provide a clear picture of injury phenomena. His work to date includes investigation of trends and patterns in workplace related injury, transport related injury, and assault in Victoria over the last ten years.
