Alison Mahony is the Senior Project Officer - Research and Policy with Royal Life Saving Society - Australia. In her current role she is responsible for the collection, monitoring, analysis and reporting of national drowning data. She has completed research projects focusing on drowning in young children, males and older people. The role also has a strong focus on advocacy and health promotion, including the design and development of national awareness campaigns and media engagement. Alison has a Masters of Public Health and previously worked for a private research consultancy, focusing on data analysis and evidence evaluation.
