Briohny is a public health researcher with the Health Law and Ageing Research Unit at the Department of Forensic Medicine, Monash University. Her research background is both qualitative and quantitive and includes projects describing work-related fatalities, nutrition interventions and obesity prevention programme and policy evaluation, and preventable deaths in nursing homes. Briohny is a PhD candidate with the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine exploring abuse-related deaths in older Australians.
