Carolyn has worked in injury prevention since 2001, gaining a solid grounding in a wide range of injury issues at the Monash University Accident Research Centre. Since 2004, she has focused on the prevention of drowning deaths and completed a graduate research program in 2013, using historical and epidemiological methods to explore the factors that contributed to drowning mortality trends over a period of more than 100 years.
