Kristy Robson has been a health professional working in regional/rural NSW for the past 21 years. She has been an academic in the School of Community Health at Charles Sturt University since 2002. Kristy recently completed her PhD, Exploration of Falls Risk in Regional Australia, which was a mixed method approach that encompassed hospital admission data, health sector surveys and in-depth interviews with older people who had fallen and family members of older people who had fallen. Through clinical experience and research interests, Kristy has extensive knowledge in injury risk management, especially within the falls management and prevention area.
