Dr. KM Tse is currently a Research Fellow in Biomechanical Engineering Research Group in the University of Melbourne (UoM). KM had obtained both his BEng (Hons) (Jun 2009) and PhD (Jan 2014) in Mechanical Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS). He had developed and validated an advanced finite element model of human head which has then been used extensively in the applications of injury biomechanics. His research interests lie in Injury Biomechanics, Impact Mechanics, Injury Prevention (Composite, Auxetic Structure, Shear-Thickening Fluid) and Mechanics in Medicine (Cardiovascular Biomechanics, Orthopaedic Biomechanics, Implants). To date, Dr. KM have published 2 book chapters, 21 peer reviewed journal papers and 13 international conference papers, with a considerable good track record as an early career researcher (Google Scholar Citation indices: 231; h-index: 8; i10-index: 6).
