The University of Queensland’s Centre for Online Health in conjunction with the Australasian Telehealth Society is pleased to announce plans for the 2017 International Conference on Successes and Failures in Telehealth (SFT-17).

SFT-17 and the 8th Annual Meeting of the Australasian Telehealth Society will be held from 30-31 October 2017 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC).

Over two packed days SFT-17 is expected to draw more than 200 delegates who will learn from experts in the field.  The scientific program will be informative and interactive and will be accompanied by a trade show featuring the latest advancements in telehealth.  The conference will also give delegates an opportunity to engage with the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence (CRE) in Telehealth. Our most recent conference (SFT-16) was held in conjunction with the Global Telehealth, the Health Informatics New Zealand Conference, and the NZ Nursing Informatics Conference in New Zealand, exposing our program to over 1100 delegates. This year we return to Brisbane, reinvigorated and as focused as ever!

Who Should Attend

SFT-17 will be of interest to academics, doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, administrators, government representatives, policy advisers, consumers, service managers, vendors, educators and technicians. Each year, presenters and delegates come from across the globe to share their accomplishments and challenges in telehealth - to help others achieve success in the field.

PROGRAM OUTLINE

The conference program will offer a diverse range of presentations in a variety of formats, including academic paper presentations, clinician experiences, industry showcase, government telehealth initiatives, panel discussions and poster presentations. The SFT conferences have attracted speakers travelling from across Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, UK, Japan, USA, India, Canada, Taiwan, South Africa, and Colombia – just to name a few!

The call for abstracts is open and we encourage you to share your expertise. Submissions close 26 June 2017.
