Full Conference registration 

Full Conference Registration includes attendance to all conference sessions and the trade area, daytime catering on Tuesday and Wednesday and a conference satchel. Full registration also includes a ticket to the Welcome Reception and Conference Dinner.

Full Conference Registration does not include a ticket to the Optional Workshops. Tickets may be purchased in addition to the conference registration.

optional workshops & social functions

Optional Workshops will be held on the afternoon of Monday 22 October 2018 at the Vibe Hotel, Darwin Waterfront. Workshop topics and presenters will be confirmed in due time. The workshops are optional and can be purchased as an additional extra to full and day only registrations at $150 each.

The Welcome Reception will be held on Monday 22 October 2018 at The Precinct, on the Darwin Waterfront. The Welcome Reception ticket is included in all full registrations. Additional tickets can be purchased for day only registrations or accompanying persons at $77 each.

The Conference Dinner will be held on Tuesday 23 October 2018 at the Darwin Trailer Boat Club. The Conference Dinner ticket is included in all full registrations. Additional tickets can be purchased for day only registrations or accompanying persons at $130 each.

ATHS MEMBERSHIP

The Australasian TeleHealth Society (ATHS) is a ‘non-profit organisation’ that is the number one authority that keeps members up to date with developments and evidence based strategies in telehealth and is part of the International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth (ISfTeH).

All ATHS members will be entitled to an immediate discount on registration for the SFT-18 Conference.
 

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Successes and Failures in Telehealth (SFT) is a premier conference event that is jointly hosted by The University of Queensland’s Centre for Online Health and the Australasian Telehealth Society.  Check with your professional organisation to ascertain if your attendance at SFT counts towards your professional development. Most organisations will accredit attendance at SFT as 1 CPD point per hour attended. This must be self-recorded and reported to your professional organisation.
 

TERMS & CONDITIONS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Registration: Registration fees for SFT 2018 are being charged in Australian Dollars and includes all taxes. By completing your registration you have confirmed your attendance at the conference and acknowledgement of the below terms and conditions.

Privacy: The University of Queensland's Centre for Online Health, the Australasian Telehealth Society and/or the event organisers (Iceberg Events) will use the information you provide on the registration form to be in touch with you and to provide updates and information related to SFT-18 and the 9th Annual Meeting of the Australasian Telehealth Society. By registering, you agree that we may process your information in accordance to these terms. We will treat your information with respect. 

Registration Cancellations: All cancellations must be made in writing to Iceberg Events. Cancellations received prior to 21 September 2018 will be refunded less a $99 administration fee. Cancellations received on or after 21 September 2018 will not be refunded, although substitute delegates are welcome.

Accommodation Bookings: To take advantage of the discounted accommodation rates, bookings must be made via Iceberg Events. Any changes to your booking must be made via email to Iceberg Events: bella@icebergevents.com.au – not direct with the hotel. Any bookings outside of the conference dates (being in 22 October 2018, out 24 October 2018) will be subject to the hotels' availability and best available daily rate. If you would like to book a longer stay, please do so via the registration form and you will be contacted by Iceberg Events if there are any cost differences advised by the hotel. Please note cancelled bookings or failure to arrive at the hotel on the designated date of arrival (no-show) will incur penalties.

Full payment for your entire stay must be received before accommodation will be confirmed.  If payment for bookings has not been received 30 days out from the event, your accommodation booking will be released.

A block of accommodation is held for this event, at the prices advertised. Occasionally, the accommodation block shown will be exceeded by a rush of last minute bookings. Should this occur, every effort will be made to acquire more rooms at the rate advertised, at the same, or similar (nearby) venue. Should we be unable to acquire more rooms at a rate equal to or less than the advertised rate, your accommodation deposit will be refunded to you. We will communicate with you throughout this process.

Accommodation Cancellations: must be made in writing to Iceberg Events prior to 17 September 2018. Refunds will not be made on cancellations after 17 September 2018 due to group booking policies. Substitutes are welcome. 

Insurance: insurance, including medical cover and travel insurance, is the responsibility of the delegate. The Organising Committee and Conference Organisers will take no responsibility for any participant failing to insure.

Disclaimer: the program is correct at the time of printing, but the Conference Organisers reserve the right to alter the program if and as is deemed necessary.

Liability: The Organising Committee and/or Conference Organisers shall not be held liable for personal accidents or losses or damage to private property of registered delegates of the Conference. Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.
