18-20 November 2015 | North Sydney Harbourview
North Sydney Council (NSC) is proud to be hosting the ANPSG’s 18th Annual Workshop in November. This year the Workshop has been rebadged as “ComPark 2015” to reflect the broad regulatory framework that it covers.
For the first time, the Workshop will look at the regulatory functions of local government in Australia and New Zealand in a holistic manner, exploring the issues regulatory staff face today and the emerging technologies and operational trends that will influence the future. I am confident that the program has to interest all managers and staff working in the regulatory environment.
The importance of the regulatory function of local government should not be underestimated. When it is done efficiently and fairly, regulation contributes to the smooth running of communities.
The ANPSG Workshop not only inspires and encourages individuals, it supports the development of a consistent approach to issues that we share in common. This consistency is a significant benefit to the communities we serve, as our customers don’t think in the context of government borders.
I am sure you will benefit significantly from this workshop both in knowledge and networking. And as an added bonus the Harbourview Hotel, where the Workshop is being held, has spectacular views over Sydney Harbour and our iconic bridge..
The ANPSG workshop has a reputation for being informative and enjoyable. This year’s Workshop will not disappoint.
