FAQs for Suppliers
1. How is the tradeshow for Cornetts Store Managers Conference going to work in 2021?
Suppliers are invited to present to the Cornetts Store Managers virtually in 2021, due to COVID restrictions. Store Managers will be split into three (geographical area) groups. Suppliers will be scheduled to present virtually to each of these groups (ie you will need to present three times).
Suppliers will be encouraged to send samples to the venue to be distributed to the Store Managers for your virtual presentation - so that they have product to touch and feel and taste during your time on the screen.
COVID-Safe protocols will be adhered to throughout the event. Iceberg Events will schedule an individual briefing with you in the month prior to the event, so that we can test your presentation and your tech set up, and walk you through how this will work.
You will be invited to schedule a rehearsal time at which time all of your queries will be addressed in relation to your particular presentation. Iceberg will send you guidelines for creating your presentation in January.
2. Can I attend the social function for the Cornetts Store Manager Conference in 2021?
Unfortunately, due to COVID 19, we are limiting the attendees to the overall conference to Store Managers only - except for the Gala Dinner on Tuesday 23 March 2021. Local Suppliers are invited to attend this event, and we ask that you register using the online form.
3. What if my sample product requires refrigeration?
Iceberg Events will organise for a dedicated fridge/freezer facility for the Cornetts Store Manager Conference 2021 to ensure your product doesn't get lost in the venue. We ask that you use the delivery labels which we will be providing to ensure your product gets stored in the correct space.
4. Do I need to sign a food waiver for Sea World Resort?
Yes. Iceberg Events will provide a food waiver document to sign which indemnifies Sea World from any damages associated with serving your product.
5. What do I need to provide for the information pack for Store Managers?
We are collating personalised information packs for stores from each supplier - so we would ask you to send a pdf version of your information pack (no more than 10 pages) for each store showing that store's data and statistics for your products. These will then we printed and bound and given to store mangers at the beginning of your presentation. All information packs need to be provide to Mellisa Irvine no later than Friday 12th March 2020.
