I graduated in 1999 from Ain Shams University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology in the same University 2008. I also hold two postgraduate higher diplomas; 2002 Diploma in Speech and Language Pathology (30 months) from the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University, and in 2004 Diploma in Special Education from Oslo University, Norway. Furthermore, I am a 2009 graduate of the International Educational Leadership Program from Perkins School for the Blind, USA. Throughout my career I was very lucky to have mentors whom inspired me, both personally and professionally, to have such passion to study, learn, and apply. I would like to especially mention Dr. Jan van Dijk; who was one of the worldâs leading experts in the education and development of children with deafblindness, renowned pioneer whom i worked very closely with over the past 6 years on his assessment and intervention approach âChild Guided Strategies - van Dijk Approachâ until i became the ï¬rst worldwide certiï¬ed practitioner of the approach through the Dutch Psychologists Institute.
