Patrick holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Queensland and a Master of Science in Sustainable Urban Development from Oxford University. He is a Chartered RPEQ Engineer with 10 years consulting engineering experience in various sectors and multidisciplinary teams, including 5 years working abroad with exposure to projects in Europe, Africa and Asia.
Pat is an Associate Mechanical Project Engineer at Wood and Grieve Engineers (now part of Stantec) and is actively involved in healthcare engineering, including design and detailed business case roles for a variety of hospital redevelopment, refurbishment and engineering infrastructure upgrade projects in Queensland.
