Wendy Hird is a Mechanical Engineer (B.E Mech) with over 20 years in the steel industry as a maintenance based project manager and business analyst. Her environmental drive initiated with working on large scale water recycling and water efficiency schemes at BlueScope Steel Pt Kembla. Moving into environmental management via Sydney Water and TAFE NSW, before leaping into healthcare in late 2017, she brings a pragmatic and operational focus to sustainability management.
