FULL CONFERENCE REGISTRATION 

Full Conference Registration includes attendance to a conference workshop, all conference sessions and the trade area, daytime catering, and a conference satchel. With thanks to Injury Prevention journal, a 2 year subscription to their online journal will also be offered to all full conference delegates.

Full registration also includes the Conference Dinner on Tuesday 26 November 2019.

Day Only Registration includes attendance to all conference sessions and the trade area on the specified day of registration, daytime catering on the specified day of registration. 

Day Only Registration does not include attendance at the Conference Dinner, although an additional event ticket may be purchased. Day only registration also does not include the two year subscription to Injury Prevention.

Conference dinner tickets

The conference dinner will be held on Tuesday, 26 November 2019 at Cloudland in Brisbane. 

A ticket to the conference dinner is included in all full conference registrations.
A ticket to the conference dinner can be purchased for an accompanying partner or day only registrations.

Additional Conference Dinner Ticket: $110 per person

Student Bursaries

In recognition of AIPN student members, and their ongoing study and contribution to injury prevention research and practice, the AIPN will award two Student Bursaries to the value of $500. Presentation of the student prizes will be included in the conference closing ceremony. To be eligible you must:

1. Be a full-time student. Evidence of full-time student status will be required
2. Have an abstract accepted for a full oral presentation
3. Be a financial member of the AIPN at the time of submitting your abstract
4. Indicate on your abstract submission form that you wish to be considered

Complimentary conference registration will be offered to bursary recipients at time of abstract acceptance. 
 

ACCOMMODATION

Special accommodation rates will be available to Conference delegates, to be booked through the registration process.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

**Non-payment does not constitute cancellation**

Registration: Registration fees for AIPN 2019 are being charged in Australian Dollars and includes all taxes. By completing your registration you have confirmed your attendance at the conference and acknowledgement of the below terms and conditions.

Privacy: The Australian Injury Prevention Network and/or the event organisers (Iceberg Events) will use the information you provide on the registration form to be in touch with you and to provide updates and information related to the 14th Australasian Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion Conference. By registering, you agree that we may process your information in accordance to these terms. We will treat your information with respect. 

Registration Cancellations: All cancellations must be made in writing to Iceberg Events. Cancellations received prior to 22 October 2019 will be refunded less a $99 administration fee. Cancellations received on or after 22 October 2019 will not be refunded, although substitute delegates are welcome.

Accommodation Bookings: To take advantage of the discounted accommodation rates, bookings must be made via Iceberg Events. Any changes to your booking must be made via email to Iceberg Events: [email protected] – not direct with the hotel. Any bookings outside of the conference dates (being in 25 November 2019, out 27 November 2019) will be subject to the hotels' availability and best available daily rate. If you would like to book a longer stay, please do so via the registration form and you will be contacted by Iceberg Events if there are any cost differences advised by the hotel. Please note cancelled bookings or failure to arrive at the hotel on the designated date of arrival (no-show) will incur penalties.

Full payment for your entire stay must be received before accommodation will be confirmed.  If payment for bookings has not been received 30 days out from the event, your accommodation booking will be released.

A block of accommodation is held for this event, at the prices advertised. Occasionally, the accommodation block shown will be exceeded by a rush of last minute bookings. Should this occur, every effort will be made to acquire more rooms at the rate advertised, at the same, or similar (nearby) venue. Should we be unable to acquire more rooms at a rate equal to or less than the advertised rate, your accommodation deposit will be refunded to you. We will communicate with you throughout this process.

Accommodation Cancellations: must be made in writing to Iceberg Events prior to 22 October 2019. Refunds will not be made on cancellations after 22 October 2019 due to group booking policies. Substitutes are welcome. 

Insurance: insurance, including medical cover and travel insurance, is the responsibility of the delegate. The Organising Committee and Conference Organisers will take no responsibility for any participant failing to insure.

Disclaimer: the program is correct at the time of printing, but the Conference Organisers reserve the right to alter the program if and as is deemed necessary.

Liability: The Organising Committee and/or Conference Organisers shall not be held liable for personal accidents or losses or damage to private property of registered delegates of the Conference. Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.
