The 2022 Medico-Legal Society of Queensland Inc Annual Conference will be held at the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort and Spa on the Gold Coast from 19-20 August 2022.


  • All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and include 10% GST.
  • If you are paying by credit card your statement will display as a transaction with Iceberg Events.
  • A 1.70% non-refundable surcharge applies to credit card transactions.
  • A separate registration form needs to be completed per individual. 
  • Please advise the conference organisers if you will not be attending a certain catering event.
  • Please type your full name below as you would like it to appear on your name badge.
  • You will receive a confirmation letter and tax invoice upon submitting your registration. These autogenerated confirmations will be sent from [email protected]

Conference Registration

Partner Registration & Additional Social Function Tickets

Partner registration applies to a delegate’s partner who is ineligible for MLSQ membership but wishes to attend sessions and all social functions. Includes session admission, Friday conference welcome dinner, Saturday lunch, morning tea, Saturday conference dinner, name badge, conference satchel containing  conference program and other material.

Welcome Reception Dinner
Time: 1830 - 2030 hrs
Cost: Inclusive for delegates and registered partners. Includes buffet dinner and welcome beverage.
Additional tickets: Adults: $88
Children 6-12 years: $45 (please contact [email protected] if you would like to purchase a childs ticket)
This informal welcome dinner is always a relaxing and enjoyable evening, catching up with friends and colleagues. Food service continues through the evening so late arrivals are welcome to join in.
Dress: Smart casual attire. A jacket is recommended if there is a cool evening breeze.

Conference Dinner
Time: 1900 for 1930 hrs
Cost: Inclusive for delegates and registered partners.
Additional tickets: $130
Dress: Gentlemen: jacket but no tie. Ladies: Cocktail attire. Evenings may be cool so a wrap or jacket may be necessary.

Pre-arranged seating will be organised. Please indicate on the personal details section of this form if you wish to sit with particular delegates.

Certificate of Attendance

Accommodation is available to registered delegates at a discounted rate for the duration of the conference (check-in Friday 19 August 2022, check-out Sunday 21 August 2022). Accommodation requests outside of the conference dates are subject to the hotel's availability and best available rate.
