welcome

The University of Queensland’s Centre for Online Health in conjunction with the Australasian Telehealth Society is very pleased to announce plans for the 19th International Conference on Successes and Failures in Telehealth (SFT-19).

SFT-19 in conjunction with the 11th Annual Meeting of the Australasian Telehealth Society will be held in Queensland, Australia - at the Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa from 21-23 October 2019.

We would like to offer you the opportunity to secure your role at the SFT-19 conference – which is highly regarded as the largest academic telehealth conference in the Southern Hemisphere. For almost two decades, the SFT conference has provided the perfect forum to share both positive (successes) and the more challenging (failures) experiences in telehealth.

Following the success of the workshops offered in Darwin last year, a variety of workshops will be offered again to delegates during the conference program.  The SFT-19 conference is the place to share experiences, interact with peers, share ideas and learn from presentations in the categories of formal research and clinical case reports.  Sessions will also be structured to encourage audience participation with question and answer sessions; and panel discussions on specific topics of interest.  The SFT program will offer a diverse range of presentations on a variety of important telehealth formats, and also an industry showcase session, poster presentations and telehealth demonstrations.

SFT-19 is expected to attract around 250 delegates, including academics, doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, government representatives, policy advisers, health Informatics and information technology leaders, industry leaders, educators and managers.

The SFT conference is an interactive experience which promotes engagement, innovation, critical debate and future planning.  Have a role in the future direction of telehealth – by becoming an SFT supporter.

SFT is the premier telehealth event for industry partners – who are contributing to the future of telehealth and digital healthcare.  The delivery of a trade show featuring the latest products and services available in telehealth; is a highly valued feature of the SFT conference.
