Dr Elizabeth Beadle

Neuropsychologist, Queensland Health

Lizzie is a clinical and neuropsychologist, currently employed by the Acquired Brain Injury Transition Rehabilitation Service (ABI TRS).  She completed her clinical doctorate through UQ in 2011, and recently finished her PhD through Griffith University, examining changes to self-identity after traumatic brain injury (2018). Lizzie is interested in understanding the "active ingredients" in rehabilitation - what helps/enhances people's recovery after injury, and how can health workers support these processes? She is particularly interested in how technology can be used to 1) enhance health and well being after injury, and 2) promote effective and efficient service delivery (e.g., via tele-health).
