7-9 October 2020, Brisbane
We have taken much time to consider our position on the conference and have had to make the difficult decision to cancel the SFT-20 conference until a similar time in 2021.
The 2021 SFT conference will be held in Brisbane. We acknowledge the current uncertainties related to interstate and international travel, availability of funding for conference attendance, and industry willingness to invest in conference activities at this time, but expect these pressures to ease over the next 6-12 months.
Information regarding the 2021 Successes and Failures in Telehealth conference will be released later in 2020.
The University of Queensland’s Centre for Online Health in conjunction with the Australasian Telehealth Society is very pleased to announce plans for the 20th International Conference on Successes and Failures in Telehealth (SFT-20).
Planning is underway in the lead up to our 20th SFT conference – and we would like to invite you to confirm your role as a presenter, exhibitor and/or sponsor. This special anniversary event is sure to attract a record number of delegates, including academics, doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, government representatives, policy advisers, health Informatics and information technology leaders, industry leaders, educators, and managers – so please keep these dates in your diary and submit your abstract/s.
For two decades, the SFT conference has provided the perfect forum to share both positive (successes) and the more challenging (failures) experiences in telehealth. This is your chance to be part of this exciting development as we watch, share and learn about a rapidly changing healthcare environment – and help to promote the uptake of telehealth and digital health care on a national and international scale.
A variety of workshops will be offered again to delegates during the conference program. The SFT-20 conference is the place to share experiences, interact with peers, share ideas and learn from presentations in the categories of formal research and clinical case reports. Sessions will also be structured to encourage audience participation with question and answer sessions; and panel discussions on specific topics of interest. The SFT program will offer a diverse range of presentations on a variety of important telehealth formats, and also an industry showcase session, poster presentations and telehealth demonstrations.
SFT is the premier telehealth event for industry partners – who are contributing to the future of telehealth and digital healthcare. The delivery of a trade show featuring the latest products and services available in telehealth; is a highly valued feature of the SFT conference.
We look forward to your involvement!
