Registration Terms & Conditions
**Non-payment does not constitute cancellation**
Registration fees for SFT 2021 are being charged in Australian Dollars and includes all taxes. By completing your registration you have confirmed your attendance at the conference and acknowledgement of the below terms and conditions.
All cancellations must be made in writing to Iceberg Events. Cancellations received prior to 1 October 2021 will be refunded less a $99 administration fee. Cancellations received on or after 1 October 2021 will not be refunded, although substitute delegates are welcome.
Accommodation is not included in your registration fee and can be purchased through the registration form at the conference rate.
To take advantage of the discounted accommodation rates, bookings must be made via Iceberg Events. Any changes to your booking must be made via email to Iceberg Events: firstname.lastname@example.org – not direct with the hotel. Any bookings outside of the conference dates (being in 3 November, out 5 November 2021) will be subject to the hotels' availability and best available daily rate. If you would like to book a longer stay, please do so via the registration form and you will be contacted by Iceberg Events if there are any cost differences advised by the hotel. Please note cancelled bookings or failure to arrive at the hotel on the designated date of arrival (no-show) will incur penalties.
Full payment for your entire stay must be received before accommodation will be confirmed. If payment for bookings has not been received 30 days out from the event, your accommodation booking will be released.
A block of accommodation is held for this event, at the prices advertised. Occasionally, the accommodation block shown will be exceeded by a rush of last minute bookings. Should this occur, every effort will be made to acquire more rooms at the rate advertised, at the same, or similar (nearby) venue. Should we be unable to acquire more rooms at a rate equal to or less than the advertised rate, your accommodation deposit will be refunded to you. We will communicate with you throughout this process.
Must be made in writing to Iceberg Events prior to 1 October 2021. Refunds will not be made on cancellations after 1 October 2021 due to group booking policies. Substitutes are welcome.
Insurance, including medical cover and travel insurance, is the responsibility of the delegate. The Organising Committee and Conference Organisers will take no responsibility for any participant failing to insure.
The program is correct at the time of printing, but the Conference Organisers reserve the right to alter the program if and as is deemed necessary.
The Organising Committee and/or Conference Organisers shall not be held liable for personal accidents or losses or damage to private property of registered delegates of the Conference. Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.
The University of Queensland's Centre for Online Health, the Australian Telehealth Society and/or the event organisers (Iceberg Events) will use the information you provide on the registration form to be in touch with you and to provide updates and information related to SFT-21 and the 13th Annual Meeting of the Australian Telehealth Society. By registering, you agree that we may process your information in accordance to these terms. We will treat your information with respect.
