Prof. Dr. Santiago is a full professor at the Asian Institute of Management's Strategic Management Department. She is a recipient of several awards for teaching and research excellence. Her qualifications and her consulting experience led her to local and international publications in the fields of family business management, corporate social responsibility, management of educational institutions, and sustainable development. As a result of her quality publications, she was invited to sit in the editorial board of a number of international journals.
Prof Dr. Santiago's pressing research agenda is poverty alleviation through sustainability entrepreneurship. She is a part of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (UN-PRME) Working Group on Anti-Corruption.
Prior to joining the academe, Prof. Dr. Santiago worked in industry and in government. She worked at the Office of the President of the Philippines, Malacanang under the late President Corazon Aquino.
